This is my interpretation of an old fashioned country quilt pattern called Log Cabin. Each individual block has a light side and a dark side. As the blocks are put together they form a light and dark asymmetrical stripe effect. For a different view of the log cabin coverlet kindly click here. The yarn is acrylic and washable. It is a spread for a single bed and a coverlet for a double bed. This is a very warm coverlet, no toes will pop through! The measurements are: 72" long by 60" wide. This stunning hand crochet afghan or bed cover is done in an antique quilt design called the yo-yo pattern. Each individual rosette is crochet in a different color and then all are sewn together by hand. For a closer view of the rosettes and the ruffle edge kindly click here. I have hours and hours of hand work in each of these afghans. The last row around the entire bed cover is done in the darker color rosetts, brown, navy and black and then a black edge croched around all. Measurements are: the first is 56" wide X 69" long. This one that I have ready makes a nice coverlet size for a twin bed or a perfect throw for watching TV in the evening. This bed cover is extremely warm, no toes will poke through and no drafts will penetrate. The type of yarn used is a mixture of wool and washable synthetic. For best results a dry cleaning should be done when the afghan needs it. It is new and never used. | Price

This lovely afghan reminds me of strips of caramel, vanilla, chocolate and licorice candy!! The different color strips are crochet together to form the throw. The sides are straight edged and the two ends are ruffled. The yarn is acrylic and fully washable. It will keep you nice and warm and probably make you hungry looking at the yummy candy colors!! This is a wonderfully delicate looking variation of the classic Granny Square crochet pattern. Each block of this bed coverlet is Dogwood blossom design square! Each block is hand stitched together with black yarn and there is a black edging of Dogwood blossom blocks around the entire coverlet. This coverlet or throw eaisly fits a single bed as you can see in my photograph. It is a warm throw for TV watching as well. The colors are mainly lighter pastels with the black as a contrast. The yarn is synthetic yarn is fully washable. It is a nice generous size and measures 90" X 60". It is new and never used.
